John Metcalfe - Owner

John has been involved in the retail motor industry for over 30 years and has represented a number of motor manufacturers in retail, Vauxhall, Ford, Skoda, MG Rover and Land Rover.

Establishing JMC Motors in 2014, John is passionate about delivering a wonderful customer experience. John has a fastidious approach to his vehicles, where he believes attention to detail is key.

Out of the business, John's passion is for his family and enjoys, socialising, dining out, and spending quality time walking the beaches of Barmouth, where he has a small bolthole on the beach.

Caroline Metcalfe - Sales Support

Although Caroline's background is not cars, being the wife of John, she has always been involved indirectly. Having sold her own floristry business in 2013, the main anomaly between the two businesses are people, something that John and Caroline are passionate about. Meeting customers' expectations is high on their list of priorities, and having dealt with public for the last 12 years, she feels comfortable in her new sales surroundings.

Out of the business, Caroline's main focus is family. Caroline loves to cook, and is happiest when all the family arrives for a feast. She also loves walking, swimming, and when she has time, loves to write, and has aspirations of one day being published!

Favourite car driven: Mercedes SL 63 AMG.

If I could choose one car: Range Rover Autobiography.

Will Richardson - Sales Support

Will has in-excess of over 10 years in the retail industry, with the same ethos as the company; passionate about delivering a wonderful customer experience.

Favourite car ever driven: Bentley GT

"It's comfortable yet has amazing performance. Its looks are awesome, and its presence on the road is eye-catching. An ultimate luxury sports car."

If I could choose one car: Lamborghini Diablo

"It's just super and iconic."

Will can be found: Being a doting dad to his three children and doing martial arts. Will also has a real interest in environmental issues and enjoys the optimisation of health.

Peter Glynn - Valeting Manager

Peter has been involved in the motors industry for over 30 years and takes great pride on ensuring every vehicle gets a full makeover. As Peter explains, "Anyone can clean a car, but it's the detail that makes the difference".

Favourite car driven: Porsche 911 4s.

Peter can be found: Dining out with his wife Debbie, he enjoys the experience of many types of foods.

Catherine Metcalfe - Accounts Manager

Prior to working at JMC Motors, Catherine had not worked in the Motor Industry. However, she has been involved in the retail industry for over 20 years and is passionate about the business and ensuring we deliver a wonderful customer experience.

Favourite car driven: Mitsubishi Shogun.

If I could choose one car: Discovery Sport.

Catherine can be found: Spending time with her family.

"My main priority's as a mum is my family. I have three wonderful children in further education. Weekends are all about being together."

Graham Birch - Workshop Supervisor

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Graham is our skilled technician and a key member of our team. Joining the company at just 15 years old, he has grown alongside us, developing a wealth of expertise in vehicle repair and maintenance. Graham's deep knowledge and commitment to quality ensure every vehicle is in expert hands. His long-standing dedication is a testament to his passion for the trade and his integral role within the company.

Outside of work Graham enjoys spending quality time with his family and has a special love for visiting Disneyland, where he makes lasting memories with his loved ones.

Dave Crossley - Operations Coordinator

With decades of experience and a diverse background in running multiple successful businesses, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. A versatile and highly skilled individual, he works across all aspects of the business but is particularly focused on overseeing vehicle progress ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work Dave enjoys spending time with his family and travelling across the country to watch his son referee football matches, a passion that keeps him connected to both family and sport.
